The Nike Human Race 10km
sori bout the mizuno 10km......
reali no time for tt......
went to pasir ris to meet customer then to TP to cut hair then finally rush home to change into my running attire........
Mr Nice ying jian drop-by to fetch mi.....
muahahahaaa........
nice.......
i was prayin it dun rain cous appearently the sky is threatening to do so.........
& the thing is i will not risk my shoe to run a race in rain.......
well luckily it didn.........
sooo after all the deposit of bags & final visit to the toilet we headed to the startin line.....
muhahahaa........
i mus say its a smart idea to force every1 to wear their event tee.......
cous normally i will not wear the event tee on the actual event.......
i mus say the result of every1 wearing their red tee is reali nice........
look so uniformed......
onli thing is tt its not easy to find each other......
1 of the better race tt i had......
ying jian & myself squeezed our way to the front & therefore had a not so bad start.....
(previously at mizuno 10k was horrible).......
they hav tis color band thingy(red blue green based on the timin tt 1 claims they can run)......
appearently alot of ppl taks the wrong tag......
Anyway......
the tag decides how front u start the race........
haa......also......
appearently ppl dun care much........
the DJ sucks big time.......
there at the startin line waitin listenin to the MC, DJ & some invited guests to speak.......
BAM.......
here we gooo.........
smooth start........
but cum mid of the race im startin to swear at myslf for not doin any trainin pior to tis race.......
suffer u basterd......
lucky for the strong fundamental.....
& wit the idea to beat tt lousy mizuno timing & be able to see a 4xmin timing.........
cumin to near end where the sign says 500m.....
i started running at my finishin pace.....
then to realise tt its not even close enough to the finishin line to start tis pace.....
damn.........
after which i found out tt the sign actuali means 500m to waterpoint......
how dumb........
To add on to all tis........
i worn my damn spec to run tt day.......
it started off well & stable.........
after which wit the perspire on my face tt emerge started to slip down......
& the further i run = more i perspire & now.....
the spec starts to bounce up & down!!!!.........
imagine how giddy is tt man........
Nevertheless.....
the weather was perfect......
the spectators were great.......
almost the whole event is smooth & pleasent i mus say.......
wonderful.......
Anyway........
did my Personal best......
YJ broke his P.best........
sandra broke her P.best by sec......
and mr lukai was reali fast lah........
he made it into the top 100......
nice........
went for a drink wit YJ.....
then drove down to tamp to get present for ben.......
tt ends the beautiful day........
sweet.......
next shld be the vertical marathon in nov & standard charthered in dec if nth in between attracts mi to join.......

so long an individual is able to motivate him or herself to lift their butt off the counch to put on their shoe & hit the floor.........
they are respectable.....
he or she at tt moment is reali takin control of his life........
& tt person is already a winner.........
