Sacony Passion Run 2009(24may)
Months ago we had abit of concern before we decided to join tis race as the following week(which is just next week *30may09).........
After discussion with alan.......
We decided to go for the 10km instead of the 15km........

Woke up at 5am.........
2 bars down......
Contact lens on......
Off i go to meet kuang hong @ bedok to take the shuttle bus.........
Yup.....U didn hear wrong......
Its Kuang hong!!!!............lolx
Im like so damn proud of myslf can...........
Being able to motivate n even to pursuade tis lazy guy to join.......

After the warmup session for every1......
Flag off for all 15km racers..........
Follow by us(10km)...........
Managed to squeeze my way to pretty front...........

And off we go.........
It was pretty constant.........
But wit the preparations i had done by far for my marathon next week..........
Im flying since 4km...........
The frustratin thing is...........
The distance on the sign board dun tally with my footpod..........
7.6km on my watch while the board is only at 7km.........
I was watching the time so closely can.........
By 10km i have broken my P.best......
Damn..........
At the finishing line......
My footpod shows 10.91km..........
Gosh.................
Duno wad to say..............
Argh.........
Cun wait to see the chip timing.........

well..........
next week is more important..........
Have been clocking mileage for months for this........
Must focus abit..........P.best!!!!

But overall........
Its a nice run......
I was dripping wet in my new adidas shorts............
Haaa............
Most importantly, Mr kuang Hong completed his 1st race ever!!!...........
Weeee!!!!!

The event tee is nice.......
Decent rather......
U knoe i hate those which prints the sponcers damn freaking big.....
Or rather, HUGE!!!.........
Some worse still lousy quality or to make things worse comes in T-shirt instead of singlet.........
Cutting was good jus tt the waist abit baggy.........

Something new this time..........
1st time using a D-tag instead of the traditional time chip.......
Think from now on all races will be using tis.....
Lighter, easier to put on & best of all dun have to return(must take out lace and all to put on then take out return, troublesome)........

George Wedding

ok.......allow me to back track abit.............
On the movie bash few weeks ago george came to me asking if he invites me to his wedding will i come.......
'Of cous!!'......I exclaimed.........
That will be an honour man.........
There it is......
The 1st 'bomb' i ever recieved that is from my friend............

Guess wad, jus few days after that, got a call from this old frd of mine.......
Name Sgt iskandar.....
Askin for my address over the phone..........
Guess wad...........
His wedding too!!!!.................
Holy moly...........

And that will be my 1st time attending malay wedding........
Cool........
Alrite, that also means that some aging is cuming up.......
Haaa............hate it............

The wedding is pretty unique...........
Its actually a wedding lunch.......
But dun get me wrong......
Its not a lunch buffet............
Its a 8 course dinner just that its been held during afternoon...........
Reason being the bride's a malaysian, therefore alot of the relatives are cuming down all the way from malaysia, thats why they have to allocate time for them to head back........

The time to report is 12 for the cocktail then 1pm is the start of the event......
Jason & I damn on can......
We reach 12 sharp............

Whu in the right mind reach on time for soda drinks...........
Ended up lookin so dumb walking around calling the rest to find out their status............

Anyway.....finally all arrived but 1 uncle.......

The thing is, this old man stays just 20min walk away from the hotel......
Damn no sense of urgency can..........
That morning i was still smsing with jason to see if he got camera so as to tak down tis special event for i can bring images to readers of my blog..........
Who knoes this joker boy brough a camera which battery is flat..........

Just watching his pathetic vegies tt afternoon is good enough to turn mi off already........

Can u imagine he had been taking it for the past 5yrs man.......

Gosh......

Its like vampire not been able to drink blood but onli tak tomato juice........

We got fried chicken and all while his is a 'tao pok' on a small plate, 2 piece of vegies with 1 slice of mushroom on the middle in the other plate........
